Dog Grooming FAQs
Answers to the questions Summerville pet parents ask most.
How much does dog grooming cost at Sitting Pretty Pet Salon?
Prices are based on size. Baths start at $35, mini grooms at $50, full grooms at $65 and doodle and poodle full grooms at $85. Nail trims and teeth brushing are $10 each. All prices are starting prices; coat condition, behavior, specialty haircuts, de-matting and doodle coats can change the final price. Call or text (843) 323-9622 for an exact quote.

Do you groom doodles?
Yes — doodles are some of our favorite clients. We brush out, de-mat and finish goldendoodles, labradoodles, bernedoodles and other doodle mixes in the cut you want, from a short summer trim to a fluffy teddy bear look.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Most doodles, poodles and other long-coated dogs do best every 4–6 weeks. Short-coated breeds usually need a bath and nail trim every 6–8 weeks. We'll recommend a schedule for your dog at their first visit.
When can my puppy have their first groom?
Once your puppy has had their vaccinations, the sooner the better. Short, positive early visits help puppies grow into calm, relaxed grooming clients.
Do you groom senior or anxious dogs?
Yes. We slow down, take breaks and use extra hands when a senior, anxious or special-needs pup needs more support. Let us know about any health concerns when you book.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
Most grooms take about 2–4 hours depending on size, coat and condition. We'll call or text you when your pet is ready for pickup.
What vaccinations do you require?
Please have your dog's current rabies vaccination on file. Call us if you have questions about other vaccine requirements.
